With "Mars 2025", I wanted to talk about separation, family and transition to adulthood.
I was inspired by the Mars One Project but I felt that I should stay on earth and show only the short moment when a person who wants to discover another planet, risking her life, has to say goodbye to her family.
In parallel with the main subject, I wanted to make a film with a strong female character. Eva is a young woman and I think it's more difficult in our patriarchal society for women to fight for their dreams. Therefore I think that my film is partly about gender discrimination.

I started making short films, write, animate and create fictional universes when I was a teenager. I studied in an art school (École Européenne Supérieure de l'Image) to explore different media, mostly cinema and animation.
While in art school, I made some videos, fiction short films and animation short films and I co-founded a non-profit organization for cinematographic production, named Réalize! studio.
For my art diploma, I directed a sci-fi short film : "Mars 2025".
I'm currenly making a new short film while working for the Festival du Film Court d'Angoulême (Short Film Festival of Angoulême), as a paid volunteer.
