가출팸의 리더 강현(19)은 불법 성매매를 통해 임신을 하게 된 다른 가출 청소년 수지(18)를 구하기위해 고군분투한다.  

The Fever is about teenagers who have been running away from their home. They make 'runaways family' and live together. Population of runaways in Korea exceeds 20,000 and the runaways cause a lot of social issues including robbery, scamming, and prostitution. This is a fiction based on the story of them. Kang, a leader of runaways family, tries to save Suji, who needs to abort her unwanted baby, and they get into troubles.

할 어린 시절을 회상하며, 어른이 된 지금 그들의 마음을 어루만져주고 싶은 마음으로 만들었다. 
또한
아프고 방황하는 10대의 모습을 최대한 사실적으로 보여주어 그들의 위험한 처지에 대한 경각심을 불러 일으키고 싶었다.
